About Us
We know seeking support can be very difficult for moms with little kids, since your schedule is no longer your own: you may be available at 3am, wanting to talk, or confined at home at 9am, when the baby’s nap runs late.
That’s where we come in: Mom’s Online Support and Therapy , M.O.S.T, was developed for YOU by a psychotherapist, and a mom, with an understanding that a mom’s ability to seek support is dependent on flexibility.
M.O.S.T’s online support system allows you to get the help you need without leaving the home—you can connect with other moms for support while nursing your newborn and you can receive individualized guidance when it is convenient for you.
M.O.S.T was created by Lara Gregorio after the birth of her second child. A clinical social worker, Lara wanted to use her training in psychotherapy and her knowledge and experience of becoming a mother to support other new moms as they transition into this, at times, very daunting life phase. But, due to being a mom herself of two young kids, establishing a private practice in the community proved to be difficult while juggling the kids, household, and another job. It occurred to her one morning, after being up with her daughter during the night, that her difficulty with scheduling was not unique; all moms face trouble juggling self care with taking care of their children; being able to seek help requires extensive flexibility. And so, the concept for online therapy and support for moms emerged. Mom’s Online Support and Therapy was “born” in 2012. M.O.S.T provides life coaching to new moms through phone and email.
